An amazing thing happened this week--I had a ay off, AND I was actually somewhere that I could do something. The backwaters of Kerala, dIndia are world famous--a mixture of Louisiana bayou, everglades, Venice, and India.
A guy with a boat poled us through the backwaters, which is a whole different world. We stopped for tea, checked out some boat repairs, grabbed some coconut water, and otherwise just relaxed on a Sunday afternoon. Well, at least I relaxed--my boat guy had to work quite a bit. It was really cool and different than anything I have done before...

Not since Grandpa Bill took you through the waters of Missouri have you had such a relaxing water ride.
