PREponed

I am finally back on the road. Cool. I got to my Delhi hotel at 2:30 last night after sitting on the tarmac for 30 minutes because the gate wasn't available, then finding my driver after running the gauntlet (below). Guess they weren't expecting us on time, but when Lufthansa 'on time or die trying' Airlines is in control, late is not an option. Woke the hotel manager to check me in about the time that I got the message that my 7:45 flight had been preponed to 7:05. Yes, PREponed. No, I had never heard of the word either. Seems to be a delightful Indian creation, with some guy deciding that POSTponed needed a little sister, and thus created PREponed. Anyway I lost a precious 40 minutes of sleep, which may not seem like much but resulted in about a 20% loss of my alotted sleep last 'night'. Dang preponements.
