Afghan Haircut

The last couple days I was in Kabul, I actually had the opportunity to interact with the community a bit—having lunch one day, and on Saturday, going out for a haircut.

Now, I have found that, as my hair has disappeared over the years, the difficulty of finding a barber has eased. Basically I am a #2—which appears to be an international standard for ‘really short’.The cool thing about Afghanistan is that the clippers are manual—no electricity. It’s like Edward Scissorhands in real life.

Anyway, here are some pics of my Afghan haircut.
