Friday is picnic day in Afghanistan, especially in spring time. As we were walking around, I was amazed over how many people were just out having a picnic in the park. It seems incredibly normal for such an abnormal place, unless of course you realize there is no wine or women allowed. Tough to have a party, but these guys seem to pull it off.
Sorry for getting a bit carried away with all of the pics--it is just that normal is so nice.
