· Good news: We can get Diet Pepsi here
Bad news: It all expired at least 18 months ago. Tastes like tin and gin mixed together and filtered through 2 week old coffee grounds. Yet I drink it…not quite sure what to make of that…..
· The Apple Genius is kind of cool—it really does mix songs that seem nice together. Unfortunately the other Apple ‘genius’ that won’t let me download songs out here sucks.
· For some reason someone padlocked our kitchen shut. Thus, our mushy canned peas and expired Diet Pepsi are safe. I just wanted a big pot to treat some water in—Flipper, Willie, Jaws, and Keiko think they are in the Cuyahoga River. They will have to wait another day.
· Hassan is relieved to have me back in Farah. The pressure of caring for the boss’ fish clearly impacted him. He says my fish don’t like him. In fairness, they haven’t really gotten to know him.
· I can’t believe I am missing DC snow storms—dang. They are one of the most beautiful things ever. I don’t miss spending winter on a house boat though.
· I ordered a hammock on Amazon. Exciting……
