Going to Baby Krishna's Birthday

We celebrated Baby Krishna's birthday on Thursday. I know nothing about Hinduism, except that there are a lot of celebrations and joy, and they treat Gods as if they are living beings. So this being the birthday of a baby, there were a lot of sweets for the kid--and little trinkets that adorned his body.
India is always an adventure, and it just bubbles over with life. Sometimes it can lead to sensory overload, and make you just want to have alone time in a dark room, but once you get used to it the 'India experience' can be unbelievable.
Here was what our trip to the Temple was like...
In the rain, on the way to the Temple.

Girls from a village riding into town for the fun!!

The 'throne'. With a bunch of cookies brought for the Baby.

Decorated Temple
Not really sure...but it's definitely Indian!!!
