Zulfigar

I left my trusty blue blazer on a plane somewhere. Since it was also worn, tattered, and beat, no great loss. When browsing around beautiful downtown Islamabad one evening, I went into a tailor/store to check it out and met Zulfigar. Long story short, ‘Zully’ and I became buddies, and I am now the proud owner of a tailor made blue sport coat made in 24 hours that makes me look mahvelous…..’Zully’ also sold me two shirts on day two. I have never had anything custom made before, but I might get used to it. Oh ya—the coat was $100 and the shirts $15/piece. And even better was that I met Yusaf the tailor, who appears to have been cutting and sewing since the Coolidge administration.

When in Islamabad, check out my guy Zully—and tell him Jon sent you……

Jon- Nice. It would be even better, if in addition to the latest on Zully, you posted a weekly report on the latest cricket news from across the border! And I'll send you the Yokel update. Fair exchange ;)

So you have your sartorial splendor to lord it over us when you return to the U.S. Be sure model it for us and remember to bring back your surplus baby powder as part of your ICMA staff presentation.
