Ok. What can I say? NOW Afghanistan is a tourist destination--at least according to Lonely Planet. That's all we need. Next thing you know, some pierced/tattooed guys with dogs from Portland will start showing up with their $3,000 titanium mountain bikes looking for a double soy half de-caf half regular vanilla latte with cinnamon sprinkles--and a bottled water for Fido. I will be looking back at this time as the good old days.Gotta go--looking at some places to buy--thinking about starting a chain of bed and breakfast places. May convert some caves. Who knows? I am on the cusp of a tourist explosion--ok, maybe a bad choice of words.
