In an effort to prop up blog ratings in Cincy, we offer this salute to La Rosa’s, the City’s most popular pizza. A lot of people don’t realize it, but La Rosa’s has actually opened a pizza delivery service here in Kabul, and they are advertising for franchises in Jalalabad, Kandahar, and Herat, all know for their quality cheeses. Seems that pizza is a delicacy in this part of the country (whoda thunk it) highly valued for its delicious mixture of cheese, grease, dough, and pepperoni. Being such a valued delicacy, and this being Afghanistan, pizzas are delivered by armed guards.
Alternatively, this could just be one of our guards, with a hat that Afzal left him and which caused me to giggle when I saw him.

maybe they could sponsor your basketball team. i noticed that after la rosas started sponsoring softball i got fat. do you think those things are related?
