Walking Around Kabul

Today is my day off, so I broke out my local garb and went walking around. It really is fun to get out and see the sites, sounds and smells of a city like no other.

Here are some of the things you miss by not being here

--The local shoe factory/shoe repair shop, set up on the bridge over the Kabul River.

--The local bird market, which is pretty cool.
