Clarification

For those of you who have wondered, the picture of the Cathedral at the top of this page (until I remove it) is not in Afghanistan, but in Salzburg. 


Yes, I know the title of the blog is 'Around Afghanistan.' So what, you want me to change the name each time I go somewhere? Really? Or maybe just 'Around' would suit you better. Seems a bit obtuse for my taste, and anyway, the name has already been taken by a 15 year old from Tyner Indiana that uses his blog to list excuses to tell his parents where he has been. You know, around. (Ok, that is pretty lame, but still a helluva lot better than the real Around Blogspot which is little more than a decrepit wheelbarrow being pushed on the ol' Iinformation Superhighway--what a waste of time that thing is).


If you want to have fun, send a link of this to Glenn Beck and tell him some guy in Afghanistan is thinking about plotting about turning a Cathedral in Austria into a Mosque, repeating the Hagia Sophia experience a mere 6 centuries later--that should make him nuts nuttsier a lunatic experience even higher ratings in portions of the US with really high illiteracy and few teeth!!!


Anyway, sorry for any problems. I just was amazed I had captured a such a cool picture and wanted to put it up somewhere. I will return to a more thematically appropriate picture soon--or maybe not, Glenn!!!
