After going to Mosque around 12:30 or so, it seems that half of the people in Kabul head for kite hill on Friday for an afternoon of kite flying. But as these pictures show, this is about more than kite flying--it's really a small festival, complete with vendors. In the picture below, the sunflower seed (and other stuff) vendors wheel their carts up the hill for a day of hawking their stuff.
