Groundhog Day in Afghanistan

Punxatabad Abdullah and his fellow Taliban came out of their caves to look around today, as has become the custom over the last 20 years. As you can see from the picture, it was a sunny day, so Abdullah saw his shadow and went back to crash in his cave for another 6 weeks. Good news--sunny day. Bad news-- they will be back out in 6 weeks, smelly, hungry, and looking for trouble.
